The weather was perfect for all 4 days. I got in 3 flights but unfortunately did not get any afternoon flights in. The 1st afternoon I failed 3 take offs and got tired so decided to bag it and open a beer.
The 2nd night I crashed on take off and scrapped up my leg…not too bad but I had to take 20 minutes to fix the webbing on my cage so I never got of the ground that evening either before running out of daylight. Saturday afternoon I got my lines tangled. A pilot tried to help me and made it worse so it was too late again by the time I got it fixed.
Sunday morning a student in a trike landed on my glider on the ground prior to take off and ripped some holes in it 🙁
So it’s in the shop now.
I told Barb on a scale of 1-10 the event was a 3 for me.
She said “sounds like a 1”
3 is the minimum score as long as you don’t break any bones 🙂
